As a Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for growing market share and exceeding sales goals within a designated territoryfor Accu-Chek Insulin Pumpas well as all pump supplies and related products sold by Roche Diabetes Care.To be successful in this role, you will:
* Use your consultative skills and specialized knowledge in the Diabetes disease stage to generate demand and maximize product awareness by working with and providing education and information to health care professionals and patients.
* Develop a strategic territory plan to focus activity on the Health Care Professional segment, developing new prescriber accounts, continuing to serve existing accounts, and developing and maintaining ongoing positive relationships with local chapters of professional associations such as AADE and non-profit organizations such as JDRF.
* Attend trade shows and work with Diabetes Care Business Partners to accomplish mutual goals and objectives and to leverage opportunities.
* Implement strategic initiatives and plans to facilitate sales process and productivity in your assigned geographical area.
* Work cross functionally with internal colleagues and peers to share information and best practices while remaining actively involved in industry/customer organizations that impact business.
Territory: Boston, MA. Includes Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and part of Maine. Seeking for candidates residing in Boston, MA or within 40 miles radius.
Requirements
You also:
* Have a Bachelors degree in business, life Science or related field.
* Have a minimum of 5 years sales experience and 2+ years sales experience with medical device or related field, and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in the Diabetes industry.
* Are knowledgeableof Diabetes, Insulin Pump Therapy and Diabetes Supplies preferably.
* Are able to effectively manage time, territory, and expenses.
* Have strong computer and technical skills are required to operate Outlook.
* Have excellent negotiation skills, strategic selling, handling objections and problem solving with sophisticated decision makers.
* Have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen, and a desire to conquer complex sales processes.
* Are someone who is looking for a professional career and to expand your horizons within the organization.
* Are ready to make your mark and improve lives.
* Are able to travel 25% overnight.
